Jed came to us in 2007 with an interest in wilderness medicine and a desire to become an American Red Cross instructor. Surprisingly, he's still with us ;-) helping with our wilderness medicine programs, acting as a victim for scenarios, and doing it all as a "volunteer" none the less!
He's a great asset to our team and now that he's back from hiking over 718 miles along the Appalachian Trail, we'll be eagerly looking to him to draw from his new-found experience and start teaching wilderness medicine courses. Jed teaches many of our Wilderness & Remote First Aid as well as Wilderness Advanced First Aid classes and is a regular at many of our outreach events.
Have a question about his experiences on the trail, light-weight first aid kits or trail etiquette? Feel free to email him!
