Expedition Medicine Course
This 55-hour, five day-long Expedition Medicine course is designed to provide both aspiring as well as experienced expedition physicians, medics and first responders with the hands-on skills and practical knowledge needed for expeditions around the world. Learn from the best, as our experienced staff share their real-life stories and pass along tips and tricks of the trade that can mean the difference between life and death.
The course builds on core medical skills and trains the medical provider to plan and provide medical care specific to overseas and remote hostile environments and focuses on the development of autonomous decision-making abilities and equips students with the up-to-date specialist knowledge and skills that other training courses fail to teach. Training includes elements of remote trauma management, as well as environmental health, primary care, dental first aid, tropical medicine and medical planning.
