Asthma Inhaler + Epipen Training

This short introductory course will teach you how to identify the signs of a severe allergic reaction, as well as an asthma attack, then correctly administer an Epipen or asthma inhaler while waiting for advanced medical workers to arrive. Also, learn how to properly report the event of an asthma attack and your care to emergency services personnel.


Students will learn how to recognize and care for life-threatening emergencies including:

    • Asthma attacks
    • Mild to moderate allergic reactions
    • Severe allergic reactions & anaphylaxis



This course is strongly recommended for parents, teachers,
scouts and adult leaders, babysitters, daycare providers, and more!

An American Red Cross certificate is earned upon successful completion of the course.
Prerequisites:
Participants must be at least 11 years of age.
