Standard First Aid

This course teaches participants how to provide care for injuries at home, work, school, or around the neighborhood; until advanced medical personnel arrive on scene and take over. The course also strives to give participants the knowledge and confidence needed to overcome any reluctance had to act in an emergency.


Students will learn to care for life-threatening injuries & illnesses such as:
  • Burns   • Spinal Injuries   • Seizures
  • Bleeding   • Heat Illnesses   • Stroke
  • Shock   • Cold Injuries   • Diabetic emergencies
  • Orthopedic Injuries   • Bites & Stings   • Poisoning
  • Head Injuries   • Sudden Illness  


This course is strongly recommended for parents, teachers,
scouts and adult leaders, babysitters, daycare providers, and more!

$75 per person
Certification:
Standard First Aid  (valid 2 years)
An American Red Cross certificate is earned upon successful completion of this course.
Prerequisites:
Participants must be at least 11 years of age.
